Lately, I have not been feeling all that creative. I have had bad story ideas, hardly any good ones, even, at all!! And, I wonder, what is going on? I used to be able to pick ideas like people pick flowers!! Something's turning me off and keeping me unmotivated. I wonder ....
OH!!! I just had a brilliant idea! (Yes, really). What about a story about a family who wake up to find their baby cousin on the doorstep? They have never met this baby before and had not been in much contact with her parents (they have died, explained in a note found with the baby) and the story is told from each perspective of the seven person family??
Now I just have to find a name for the baby (Marie, Jan, Katie) and perhaps the story could be called .... uh? .... hmm ... maybe ON THE DOORSTEP
Never know. Will have a good, long think about it

Grrr.
I can't find out how far away Latrobe is from Hobart, in Tasmania. I need to know because I may be going there for a holiday and also to see my friend, Sally.
I am writing this seated at the computer in my study at my house. It is 7:27 PM and very HOT!! weather. Am just about to eat a scrumptious dinner of sauce-smother sausages and peas. Yummy!!
